2014 Golf Day Results

The Staff Team (175 points) retained the Slack Cup  by beating the Student team ( 128 points) in the 2014 competition following an excellent golf day at Heswall Golf Club. The match was held on Friday 12th September with excellent weather and a wonderful evening meal attended by most of the LUDSS committee. The prizes were presented by David Luiz from Southern Implants, one of our generous sponsors of this years golf day.
The Alumni turned out in force with Alumni team 1 (captained by Alan Parsonage) taking the Alumni Shield with 202 points.

Heineken Trophy:  Andrew Cumming - on the 4th hole, he hit a 5 Iron launching the ball 90 degrees to the right with the club going 90 degrees to the left and into a tree. It took help from the following 2 ball to help retrieve the club!
